Women's magazine New Idea has very generously offered to sponsor a rider for this event. It means, in effect, that your accommodation and fuel costs will be covered for the week. There will also be funds available to cover your costs across Cook Strait and back if you are going from the South Island. To be eligible for this unique chance, you need to have a personal story about breast cancer that you would be prepared to share with New Idea, and you will need to wear insignia (t-shirts and a waistcoat) promoting New Idea as your sponsors, for the duration of the ride. Your story can be about yourself, or about someone you love who has this disease.

Alternatively, your story can be about overcoming a significant personal obstacle of a different kind to enable you to come on this ride.

Bike Rider Magazine have ALSO very generously offered to sponsor a rider for the Herceptin Peaceful Protest Ride. The sponsorship covers the costs of fuel and accommodation for the duration of the event.
